About

I’m a simple ladyย who loves reading books and magazine articles and loves watching television shows and movies since these help me learn new things, understand, enjoy, contemplate, think, revere and they bring me to another place, another world, another time and best of all I found things, ideas and thoughts in them that I can relate to and these help me be a better person.

  3. Hi! Some time ago you were kind enough to follow my site http://www.ladiesgamers.com, which is a mix of articles about handheld gaming and real life. Recently I made the move from WordPress.com to a self hosted WordPress site, and although I’ve moved my followers with me, it seems not everyone has been getting notifications about my new posts since, and sometimes they donโ€™t see it as followed site. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Now it might well be that you haven’t missed it one bit, but if you’d still like to stay up to date: please follow me again or subscribe by email. Thanks!

  8. Thanks for sending a like on my “Both Wise Men…” I’m a few days late in acknowledging your kindness. Sorry, I was slowed down by child-sitting because of a granddaughter in the hospital. Thankfully she is doing well now. Went home yesterday. Hope you will visit my blog often.

  9. I share many of your likes, no doubt like many other people do. But, I also find that exposure to books, magazines, movies, and television lend themselves to new ideas. And I wanted to say thank you for the follow me over at “The Attic” without me having to get on my knees and begging you to do so. Recently, some other kind folks have taken pity on me as well, and started following my blog, which has necessitated the need for me to buy more pants, because I keep wearing out the knees. But seriously, all kidding aside, thank you very much for taking time to read my blog, shinepositivepower. I sincerely hope it manages to put a smile on your face with some regularity. :@)

  12. Thanks for calling in – I love the colours on your site and although I am not an alum of the 101 I was a newbie like everyone (still new after five months) and so much of what you expressed resonated with me. Have a wonderful blogging journey.

    • It’s a free wall paper from android phone ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope so too but success doesn’t mean material things to me although we all need it in this time and age or any time and age for that matter. I can say I’m pretty successful since I have a family who loves me unconditionally and a baby boy who makes everything wothwhile, I’m doing something I love and having lots of friends including you of course ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Hahaha, yes. Your boy is blessed to have you too. And yes you are successful. I hope you keep enjoying to work for your goals. Thanks for considering me your friend. Gratitude. ๐Ÿ™‚
That wall-paper must be a painting.
What inspired you to start blogging?
When did you watch 12 Angry Men?

      • If you read my Journey to Writing post I think you will know what inspired me into writing ๐Ÿ˜› I think the wall paper must be a painting I like paintings of nature so I’ve used it. Truth be told I watched Angry Men because I want to be hired in a freelance job but was not hired lol ๐Ÿ˜› But since I loved it I’ve decided to post it instead of just being saved in my computer since I thought others might enjoy it as well as I did. I read a lot during my college days but not so much nowadays and I admire writers for their creativity with words so I thought I can be like them too – hope, hope, hope ๐Ÿ˜›

      • Hahaha lol ๐Ÿ˜€
I was just reading your journey into writing. Interesting indeed. So that post was for a free-lance job resume. Good to know. I feel that’s a long article and could use some more images. I see you have added one but it’s not enough ๐Ÿ˜›
I hope you become what you want to. Though I feel you are already a wonderful writer. Your story about baby boy was so touching it moved me ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

      • I think all of my posts would be longer if I allowed myself to write everything I think of lol ๐Ÿ˜› Thank you, you are indeed a friend to say I’m a wonderful writer lol ๐Ÿ˜› I think I’m not bad but I’m not as good as you either. I’m glad it touched you. I just wrote what I feel at that moment. I assume you have no baby or wife as you have so much time in your hand? ๐Ÿ™‚ Correct me if I assumed wrong.

      • No I am retired. You can read about me in my blog’s “Who am I.” I took renunciation in 2013. You are indeed a wonderful writer and now flattering me by comparing with yourself as I am a novice. ๐Ÿ™‚
So let’s not compare ourselves. Deal?

It’s always inspired writings that touch–too much planning makes everything look skewed lol ๐Ÿ˜›
